A guide to the words and phrases tourists need to communicate in Argentina from common words and phrases to specific words and phrases for restaurants, hotels, directions, travel and many other common tourist situations. This course focuses on the language skills you need to make your trip to Argentina richer and more enjoyable as you can communicate effectively with the locals. The course is divided into ten sessions, as the sessions progress the vocabulary becomes more complex, and material from prior sessions is reviewed to improve retention. Since the Argentine Spanish dialect follows unique grammatical rules with some unique words and pronunciations this is the ideal way to learn just what you need for a trip to Argentina.
With this audio course you can learn on the go whether in the car, on a walk, while exercising or doing household chores. Topics covered include common questions tourists might need, how to order at a bar or restaurant with vocabulary for many foods and drinks as well as asking about internet access, booking a hotel room or requesting a taxi or rideshare. Situational vocabulary is included for places such as the airport, pool, beach, museum, shopping. Other topics include directions, problems, medical issues and emergencies. You will also learn basic vocabulary such as greetings/introductions and how to thank people as well as numbers, colors, places and other commonly used words and phrases in Argentine Spanish. This is an ideal way to prepare for a trip to Argentina and build your skills to be able to converse in the local language appropriately.
