Billionaire bachelor and business tycoon Jake MacDonald is finally taking a few ways off and is on his way down a dirt road on his way to his father’s rural farm. Ankle length pale blue dress, sleeveless and scooped around her neck, trimmed with white lace across full, rounded breasts. It occurs to his befuddled mind that it is a ridiculously impractical outfit to wear while gardening. When she speaks her voice is what he imagines the Sirens must have sounded like. He is so taken with her beauty he loses his breath. He continues to be entranced as she tends to his head injury and he decides right then and there he might even give up it all up--his precious bachelorhood, his corporate empire, everything—if he can just stay in her arms forever. Then he passes out.

Gretel Campbell loves Blueberry Hill. She has always been an earthy girl and has built up the gardens and her farm stand all on her own, but when Jake MacDonald shows up at her doorstep, she helps him with his nasty head injury, and the attraction is mutual.

Will Jake and Gretel be one for the record books or just another unhappy ending?
