I have tried to show in this audiobook that as God is one, necessary for all of us, so religion is one, necessary and universal. Only the roads to it may differ in some respects at the beginning. As a matter of fact, it is ludicrous to say that there are two religions, when there is but one God. There may be two denominations or sects, but there is only one religion. What we now call different religions should be known as different denominations or sects under that one universal religion.

I have tried to show in this audiobook that as God is one, necessary for all of us, so religion is one, necessary and universal. Only the roads to it may differ in some respects at the beginning. As a matter of fact, it is ludicrous to say that there are two religions, when there is but one God. There may be two denominations or sects, but there is only one religion. What we now call different religions should be known as different denominations or sects under that one universal religion.

Sweet, wonderful story about loving God.
What did you love best about Autobiography of a Yogi?
This is a life changing book about deep love and spirtuality. Its not just about Hinduism but also Buddhism and Christianity. His Guru loves Jesus Christ and is able to explain his crucifixion and resurrection better than most.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Autobiography of a Yogi?
The most memorable moments are the stories about the love and miracles of the Holy Spirit.
What does Ben Kingsley bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Ben Kinglsey does a great job on this.

Trippy story brilliantly narrated
If you could sum up Autobiography of a Yogi in three words, what would they be?
This is a heady trip on the life of a real Yogi. I found myself pausing and thinking about it on several occasions. Its humorous at times and fantastic at others. The writer knows and uses the english language very well. Ben Kingsley is a real pro.

not easy for an outsider
I do not know much about the teachings and tradition of Paramahansa Yogananda, and while the story was very engaging, I could not fully comperand the great wisdom others found in this book. All in all, an interesting listen outside of my "beaten path" :)

Truthseekers must read this!
Yogananda has shared his own earthly and enlightened experience in such honesty and detail. Any person seeking Truth must take this information as seriously as any ancient wisdom or spiritual text. He has not only shared but created a system and teachings for attaining greater wisdom and profound embodied experience. I can attest that his practices produce profound personal outcomes even as an occasional practitioner. A commitment to his entire body of work in his FREE teachings would be a big undertaking and likely be a path to self realization. How blessed we are to have this information!
