About this listen
Purple's War
Being a dragon half breed Avoidable is difficult. One best friend has been kidnapped and the other is in the Perfect prison for bombing the compound. How can I rescue them both?
All my life I've believed that love was useless. I believed that I was useless. Until I became a warrior. The rebels are not what I thought they were. They're trying to unite with the Perfects as much as we are. They're just a bit better at making things happen. Going to their camp was a risk, but I had to find Hope. Not only did I find my best friend, I found a lot more. Friends, family, and could I finally believe in it...love?

Purple's Story!
I really enjoyed the first story so much that I couldn't wait to get my hands on the second but unfortunately for me I wasn't able to get to it as quick as I planned but that's life. I love this world author Rachel Medhurst created. I think it's as good as the Hunger Games, Divergent, yes, in my opinion it's right there with them, the only downfall is I wish the author has made this story much, much longer. We get to meet the characters from the first story but there's a few new ones in this one. This story is Purple's Story and it's perfect. The author weaves both stories to make them feel believable. Her imagination shows and this author is very talented and it shows throughout her stories. I look forward to hearing this 5 part story and see if the Avoidables and Perfects will ever live a life in peace.
Ian Barker has done an exceptional job with his telling of both stories. He really does bring the stories to life. Each characters voice and accent are done extremely well that I don't have any trouble identifying which character is speaking throughout the story. He keeps me pulled into the story and leaves me begging for more. This is a story you don't want to pass up, I can promise you that. I received this audio from the author in exchange for an unbiased review.

** I was given a free copy of this book in exchange or an honest review **
I quite enjoyed this 2nd installment in this little series and cant wait for part 3! This is from Purple the handsome Dragon's point of view...he is Hope's best friend...Purple comes to rescue Hope from the rebels, but finds out she is ok, and runs into his brother Deep....now Deep and Purple are together...get it? lol I think its kinda funny! Anyways...Purple who has always had casual relationships with the ladies finds himself wanting more...and he finds it! Great story!!!

Difficult to Understand
I was gifted this book for an honest review. I have to say that I just could not finish it.
If you have not read the first book in the series (as I have not) you will be totally lost. Usually in a series the author reviews enough so that you can pick up on the story. Not so here. The narrator does a fine job enabling the listener to differentiate the different characters, but it makes no difference. I never could figure out what was going on.
Do yourself a favor, if you choose to listen to this second book in the series read the first one before you jump in. I'm sure it will make it a much more enjoyable experience.
