  • The Darkest Moments in RPGs
    Jul 8 2024
Sometimes it's not just about the power of friendship. Even the most friend-shaped RPGs can pull the rug out from under you with a moment that makes your skin crawl. Sometimes they beat you over the head with that rug with moments that make you go "aww jeez, come on, don't do that!" On this week's Axe of the Blood God Nadia and Victor discuss their favourite(?) moments in games that embrace the creepy, the macabre, or the truly depraved. It's not the first episode where we talk about marrying cousins and it won't be the last! The Best RPG Podcast

Kat and Nadia know and love rpgs as much as anyone I've ever listened to, and have learned to turn these qualities into an incredible podcast. They play off each other really well and cover different sides of the genre, with Kat being more systems and PC gaming oriented where Nadia is into these games for the stories and cares most about console games. If you want to stay up to date with what's new in the genre while learning more about its history this is place to be!
