In the aftermath of the demon invasion, Ilea makes her way to Riverwatch to find a home for a wayward mind weaver (ensuring he doesn’t eat anyone along the way). After traveling, reuniting with old friends, and some light punching, Ilea's life, it seems, is slowly returning to normal. But dire news awaits her upon her return to Ravenhall.
A friend is in danger, and there is work to be done.
The trail leads Ilea to the Empire and beyond, to dark alleys and ancient dungeons, to unknown desolate lands beyond the frontiers of humanity, and to the ruins of a long-forgotten Kingdom.
There are old allies to fight with and new ones to be made; an excellent maker of cakes, a fiery fox with a sweet tooth, and an… unlikely historian. Ilea will need all the help and levels she can get, to beat down both beast and man (and occasionally the weather too), for her enemies are many, and not every fight will be as simple as just another Drake.
A long journey is just beginning, and she may be surprised where it ends. Hopefully, there is some good food along the way…

Illeas adventures continue in a very satisfying next chunk of the story. I wish it was all here to listen to already! She takes a big jump forward in power and explores new places. always looking for the next Drake!

Like 5 mini books in one, Excellent
A perfect continuation. So much happens in this book. She just keeps progressing from place to place and from conflict to confict. Many new faces are introduced, but even they become old friends quickly with the pacing of this book which covers roughly 2 year of time. With all that the writing and pacing remain organic and character development is constant. We see the MC grapple with both new and old fears and moral dilemmas over the course of this one and she, as usual, comes out stronger. So, basically a great Story that I really couldn't put down.
The voice performance was exceptional; Narrator had variation between characters, consistency with each character, and appropriate emotional inflections.
I'm eager for the next listen; Hope 4 comes out fast.

Love this story!
this book series has the absolute perfect mix of fighting humor. seriousness heartache. it's like a soap opera mixed with a lit RPG mixed with a comedy. I just can't get enough! I cannot wait for the next book to come out on audible. The author needs to write more stuff

Addicting
I love the story and I’m happy to hear that there’s a ton more that just needs to be edited and made into books. We should expect one every 5 to 6 months and if you like this you would like Dantes immortality although there is only one book

Elia is a powerhouse.
I know there's a trend with litrpgs being never ending stories. Ten plus books per series. But if Rhegar decided to make ten of these I would read every single one.
