One of the best

I thought I'd listened to all the recordings of Treasure Island, but somehow I'd missed this one. It was a case of saving one of the best for last. David Buck is a passionate reader and is master of the many voices that fill this masterpiece of swashbuckling. A treat from start to finish.

Great narration!

I can't believe it took me 50 years to read/listen to this book. So much of pirate lore and references come from this story and the narrator is incredible! David Buck really made the characters shine, especially Long John Silver. Good stuff!

Great writing / equally great narration

Though the story jumps at times it is logical and well told. I had to play the transitions over a few times to understand but sometimes I think I may be listening carefully

I liked the story it was exciting

The story is fun and enjoyable for almost any age. The narrator of this program did a wonderful job

I sampled a wide variety of readings before settling on this one, and I couldn't have been happier. David Buck's narration is superb. This is the one to get!
