I can't recommend

Unfortunately, I think the narrator screwed this read up for me. She was talking too fast, barely had inflections and was just all wrong for this book. I almost couldn't bare to listen to it after the first chapter or 2 and the music made it all worse for me. The story line seemed pretty decent, but I couldn't get into it because of the narrator. Sorry Sonny Black, but I don't know if I could do another book from you because of it.

Not the Best But Not the Worst

Not his Best But Not his Worst. I didn’t like how this story ended. I thought for sure the girl would get her guy. I found this story line to be good but it’s not GREAT- definitely not K’wan great but I enjoyed it…. Moving on to the next K’wan book…

I couldn’t take anymore ‼️

I liked the title of the book and read what it was about. Next I looked at who was narrating the book ok cool Angela Yee from the breakfast club 103.3 perfect i’ma get it. But baby once I started listening to it I couldn’t take it anymore 14 minutes in I was done. I would’ve loved for the narrator to put a little bit more feeling into the book. It sounded as if I was listening to the breakfast club in the morning more then getting into the book. It seemed like she was reading from a script instead of putting life into the character’s. I couldn’t tell if she was pinching her nose and making her voice go up higher then the norm. I was really disappointed. It was too much music in the beginning. Lastly when she cussed it just didn’t sound right. The character didn’t make her voice sorry not sorry‼️

To start with someone else reading it! If I could have put 0 I would have. Sonny F. Black read way to fast and ran everything together. Awful! I have started, and restarted this book many times just trying to catch whats going on. ugh!

What could Sonny F. Black have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Slowed down, and not read so fast. Change her voice when the it was a different person. Just awful. It seemed as if she was reading to herself and not reading to someone else.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Angela Yee?

Anyone! Someone that knows how to Keep listeners interested. Cary Hite, Honey, ???

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Maybe if someone else would read it it would be better.
