There is an appetite for God. And it can be awakened. Thought-provoking study of fasting it's history and purposes biblically an application today this format on audible was awesome because I couldn't listen anytime cooking exercising walking driving I love it

Best Book on Fasting and Prayer

This is the best book on fasting and one of the best books on prayer that I have ever read. I highly recommend this book. Piper does a fantastic job showing, from the Scriptures, how humans are called to use everything at their disposal to hunger after God. Fasting is not deprivation, but is instead one of the greatest means God uses to fill us with himself.

Fast read but very rich of wisdom and God's glory

Reading is a little fast, but woth some rewinds I was good. Amazing book. 100% recommend for people wanting to cultivate a hunger for God and His glory with excellent insight on fasting.
