Since failing to break up her best friend's marriage and fleeing Los Angeles, Jasmine is a changed woman and a Christian. She vows to attend church every Sunday, swears off married men, and begins her search for the soul mate she is sure God has on hold for her. Now living in the Big Apple, she has shed 25 pounds, shaved 10 years off her age, and filled her expensive apartment with designer clothes, all to begin her man-finding mission.

She quickly meets her dream mate, a preacher, who falls head over heels in love with her. Surely, God is good! But things start slipping when another man from Jasmine's past refuses to stay there and an unexpected pregnancy threatens to sabotage all of her dreams. Will Jasmine's lying and scheming continue, or will she finally learn that honesty is the only path to redemption?

I hate the background sound. Sounds like its being read from a empty room. But I overall think the book wasn't that bad.

The reader really took away from this good book and backstory of infamous Jasmine Larson Bush. However, the performance should be re-recorded with another reader.

Excellent book, horrible performance

First, I would like to say that I love Victoria Christopher Murray's books and the overall presence of God, scripture, and drama in her stories; however, the narrator and lack of narration editing made it difficult to get into the book. The ending was also a bit dull but overall the book was decent; not as good as the last three (including the prequel) in the 'Jasmine Series'. Still very entertaining and drama packed!

The narration was cringe worthy!

Good Story Horrible Performance! The narrator did a horrendous job and almost ruined the book.

I've never heard so many errors, mispronounced words or heard so many STOPS!! Just awful!! I need a credit just for the torture of completing this one ....

The story line was good but the reader was AWFUL!!

I loved the way it portrayed how your lies can catch up to you. I loved the way it shows how in the end the love of God overcomes it all.

I loved the moral of the story

the story was great but the performance was horrible. there was no change in voice from the characters. it took me a while to adjust. I noticed all the mistakes from her having to reread a sentence to messing up the character's name.

great story horrible performance

This was a really good story of faith, but the narrator ruined it for me. She sounded like she was in an empty room with the echoing & all the errors she made on mic were distracting. I'm disappointed this was the final cut.

Horrible Narration

they forgot to edit out narrator mistakes in recording. there is a lot of errors and retakes in the middle of the recording. but great story.
