Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. But it depends upon the friend. Some of us are open to intuition. Some are not. There's zero return and significant distractions in trying to turn someone who's not into something into a user. People come to things in their own time.

What other book might you compare How to Rule the World from Your Couch to and why?

None like it come to mind. In comparison know well the published and private work of: two prominent parapsychologists, one prominent healer, one prominent psychic, and *many* others like them who practice and teach intuition in many aspects of their lives. But none of those people's work is like what Day has done in this book.I myself author a casual and unusual page on nonlocal consciousness (an academic term) which is actually the main topic of this book. So I infrequently find and review the work of the best people I can find. That doesn't mean I wouldn't find other books with which to compare this one by Day. But I don't know of them.

I've been a closet 'intuitive' my whole life. Some of my friends have called me 'psychic.' For example, I regularly have precognitive dreams, precognitive meditations, and sometimes postcognitive ones. When I want to I easily see energy fields and I'm also known for that among my closest friends. One of my favorite people in the world, agnostic about energy and intuition, once commented to me that he wouldn't have believed what I did unless he was there to see it himself. I have worked closely in applied nonlocal consciousness with two prominent parapsychologists, and have intentionally and carefully metered what I have shown them. One of them asked me once to deliver a surreptitious dream message to advance their personal goal. I wouldn't care to be treated like a lab rat. I don't feel a need to prove for anyone else that something already exists. For grins I author a page on nonlocal consciousness, the academic term for the basis of the discussions in Day's book. I founded a ran a casual salon of intuitives and psychics. I write that to show you I'm anything but a noob about the topics in the book.Even with all those experiences and skills, I still find that I appreciate arms-length coaching from someone, like Day, who knows exactly what they're doing. I learn especially well from women, and I find Day's audio presence especially soothing. Which means I can learn more and do more from this book.
