Michael Bernard Beckwith
Michael Bernard Beckwith—the well-known spiritual leader who touched the hearts of millions in The Secret as well as founding the Agape International Spiritual Center—shares his transformational central message and his powerfully accessible methods for embodying that message in daily life.
Here, in Spiritual Liberation, Beckwith reveals that it is our inner spiritual development—not outward appearances, religiosity, or dogma—that guides each of us toward our higher selves. Drawing on a wide spectrum of teachers both ancient and modern, this is a joyous reminder of the true fruits of spiritual labor. Featuring Beckwith’s personal and touching accounts, the book guides us to integrate and activate the gifts of divinity that are present within each of us. With affirmations, exercises, and a vibrant, personal narrative, Spiritual Liberation is destined to become a classic, to read again and again.©2008 Michael Bernard Beckwith; (P)2008 Simon & Schuster

My one problem with the book is that Beckwith ends each chapter with an affirmation. The problem is that the affirmations on the audible book are about 5 minutes each, with some cheesy music coming in after the first few sentences. I'm actually a big fan of affirmations, except when they're run on sentences and combined with cheesy music. Don't let this stop you, however. Just warning you to expect this. The rest of the book is top notch.
In general, like all audible books, the Chapters aren't named and don't translate to the actual book chapters. I don't know why they do that but that's not the author's fault.
Totally recommend this book.
