Absolutely worth your time

I am new to Beckwith in general so this was my first exposure to him, apart from the Secret. I have found this book to be filled with great insights and concrete suggestions that are doable.

My one problem with the book is that Beckwith ends each chapter with an affirmation. The problem is that the affirmations on the audible book are about 5 minutes each, with some cheesy music coming in after the first few sentences. I'm actually a big fan of affirmations, except when they're run on sentences and combined with cheesy music. Don't let this stop you, however. Just warning you to expect this. The rest of the book is top notch.

In general, like all audible books, the Chapters aren't named and don't translate to the actual book chapters. I don't know why they do that but that's not the author's fault.

Inspirational

I devoured this book. So deep, inspirational and motivating. I would listen to it to start and end my day. The reflections or meditations gave me a boost of reconnection to my deeper self. My only negative comment is that I had to listen to a section twice as it felt rushed because I needed time to process the content. Nonetheless it's my go-to book when I need a pick-me-up.

I loved the blend of content with music and affirmations.

I felt so uplifted by Dr. Beckwith as I read this book. His insights are so relatable and practical. I’ll be reading more of his books.
