Enjoyed it almost as much as I am legend. Perfect first person writing , and very quotable.

Gripping, tense, thought provoking, well written, outstanding narration. A metaphorical exploration of one mans rage against a world seemingly determined to bring him down. This book is about anger, hope, courage, defeat and redemption. Ignore the "b-grade" allusions of the title, this book is literature of the highest quality.

Well, this was surprising.

This novel floored me. I cannot believe how poignant and heartbreaking this story was. It is a horror story, but it questions what it means to be a man, what it means to be human; it is instilled with a palpable belief that life and existence are worth fighting for. Incredible narrator, by the way.

Glad I listened to this

This was really thought provoking and the character felt real and tangible. The psychological aspect was pretty intense.
