Heroes get a new meaning when you see inside their lives. Gracie is a Navy Pilot; Bruce works Air Force Pararescue. With dangerous jobs—often away from home—they write love letters. When Gracie is shot down behind enemy lines, Bruce has one mission: get her out alive.

Uncommon Heroes: Welcome to a world where friendships go deep, loyalties stand strong, and uncommon heroes perform the toughest jobs in the world. Dee Henderson's military romance series provides a detailed passage into the world of the military and homeland heroes, and those they love.

As I said exceptional read kept me in grossest in the story and I didn't have to skip any of it due to the porn that a lot of authors seem to think is needed petting is alright but I hate missing part of the story because I have to skip over sections of a book. Thank you for the wonderful story.

Unlike Book 1 of the series, Book 2 seems more focused on the characters’ words, thoughts, and actions. The reader is allowed to eavesdrop on the contents of characters’ letters as their relationships develop as each serves in the US armed forces.

The narrator does a beautiful job yet again!

The beginning moved a little slowly at first, but after I began to understand the author’s method, I was better able to become acquainted with each character.

I read the next book before this one. Well, it worked out and I enjoyed all so far. Looking forward to the next book.
This book was slower, less action than the the others but I liked the characters enough to stick with the story and I really enjoyed the later end. God bless.
