Cute Book, Bad Narrator

I enjoyed everything about this book except for Christina Ricci's monotoned narration. Not only did she seem as if she did not want to be reading this book, but as if she was totally bored as well. Very poorly done. I was annoyed with her the whole time.

the voices get annoying sometimes

I like the story and Cristina Ricci’s voice actually, but sometimes (when she is playing Serena, her voice is unbearable, which is a bit sad, I like Serena, but it is almost as if it was narrated so that you would hate her)
(but this version is a lot better than the other one out there)

Christina Rico’s voice is like nails on a chalkboard!

I’m only eight minutes into this audiobook and I’m already getting a headache from Christina Ricci‘s voice! Why is she narrating the book like that?!?! She’s so vapid and dull in her narration. The woman who narrated the first book was great! They should have chosen her again to narrate this one!

There is nothing wrong with having a lisp… but why would someone with a lisp be hired to read audiobooks? Cringe worthy.
