I did not like the voice of the narrator sadly flow Gibson. I much prefer Juliet Stevenson‘s voice Ms. Gibson’s internation was a bit monotone, and sometimes it was hard to catch her words

This book is a perfect example of how empathy can change a person. From a militant revolutionary socialist and member of the working class to a person who sees the need to live based on true emotion, the main character, Hyacinth Robinson, demonstrates perfectly how politics and regard for others play in the battle for minds.

I'm working my way through the classics and thought I'd enjoy this. Wrong, wrong, wrong.... after slogging through part one and halfway through part two, I couldn't see that the book was going anywhere yet, and I coulnd't give a d&*% about the characters

Don't bother...
