Amazing book!!

This book bring so much heritage and culture to the table. This book becomes part of the family as if I'm sitting at the kitchen table listening to my Tia's gossip ;)

Two Stories in One!

Well, a bundle of poems and a bundle of short stories, but you'd had to buy them separately if you buy physical, probably. :P Great listen!

Loved it!

Sandra makes me long to be Mexican. Her stories tell about hardship and longing that I also have in my life. The difference is that, in her culture this is as beautiful, if not more than abundance and love.

The title story is worth it.

The title story, "Woman Hollering Creek," is one of the best American short stories ever.

Difficult stories. If you are looking for a story with a normal plot, this book is not for you.
