Peter Gleick is the cofounder of the Pacific Institute, one of the nation's leading centers for assessing water conservation and efficiency potential. Gleick is also a MacArthur Fellow, and a member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences. He is also the editor of the report The World's Water.
Then, Tamara Jenkins, who wrote and directed the new film The Savages about two siblings in their 40s who now have to deal with their elderly father who has dementia. The film stars Philip Seymour Hoffman and Laura Linney. Previously, Jenkins wrote and directed The Slums of Beverly Hills. [Broadcast Date: November 27, 2007]
