Would you consider the audio edition of Strike from the Sea to be better than the print version?
About the Same I've listen to Strike form the Sea and have read it.Who was your favorite character and why?
The Captain of the Sub. He's like most of Mister Reeman's main character's haunted by war, but understands he has a job to do.Have you listened to any of David Rintoul’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
He read all of Mister Reeman's books he's one of the best.If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
You shouldn't have joined if you can't take a Joke. (From another Book)Any additional comments?
This is not my favorite Douglas Reeman book. My fav is Sunset it's set in Hong Kong weeks before and after WWII in the Pacific starts. Strike From the Sea is one three books set in the Pacific before during and after the Japanese attack. He catches the arrogance, the wishful thinking, the slow dawning that a way of life is coming to an end as the Japanese advance. One is set in Hong Kong the other two are set in Singapore, any WWII buff will know what train wreck that was. His other WWII books are set in the Atlantic and the Med and show the cold, grim, dirty horror of the killing grounds of the North Atlantic, Atlantic, and sunny killing grounds of The Med. Give him a try.I love this guys work
