Hope for the pastoral vocation

I am a pastor and found this encouraging and hopeful. Eugene's down to earth commentary on everyday life within the congregation provides a vision of a faithful life.

Hard to put down

Thoroughly enjoyed this book - it was required reading for one on my classes in seminary. Often I find myself willing my way through assigned reading, but this was pure joy to read. There is much more here than a memoir - it’s packed with golden nuggets of wisdom for life.

A Must-Read

This is a must-read for anyone in any area of Christian leadership! The Pastor is raw, encouraging, and provoking.

Really helpful and well read

Would you consider the audio edition of The Pastor to be better than the print version?

Have not read the print version - listened to this book whilst travelling and at home. Found it very helpful.

at more than 12 hours it was impossible to listen to it in a single sitting. It's a book to be pondered and reflected on.
