Now in paperback—Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar share the joys and challenges of parenting with faith.

Anyone who sees America’s best-known mega family on television is filled with curiosity. People want to know….Why do they have so many children? What do they believe? What does the family do for fun? How do they get their children to obey so well? How can they afford to live? Now, Michelle and Jim Bob show how parents can succeed whether they’re rearing a single child or several.

In this second book from the Duggars, they explain the principles that equip their family to face life’s realities—including their most recent hardship with the three-month premature birth of their newest child, Josie. Josie’s birth tested everything the family believed in and demonstrates how they worked together, relying on their faith. They also discuss helping their older children navigate decisions about courtship and marriage and how to prepare to be productive adults. As the Duggars share their hearts and faith, readers will find answers to their many questions about this inspirational family.

I love that Michelle and Jim Bob created a highly valuable parenting resource in this book while sharing their super-compelling family story.

I was very moved by parts; felt so encouraged by others; learned new info in several areas and am so very FULL from listening/reading.

Thank you so much Duggar family for loving us enough to share so deeply and transparently as you have.

Shalom to you from the Butterfly Homeschool Family, the Johnson's of Atlanta.

Sincerely,
Donna Marie Johnson

More insight into the fascinating world of the Duggars. If you enjoy reading about this interesting family then you'll enjoy this book. Before I read this, I read 'Growing Up Duggar' which is written and narrated by the four oldest daughters of the family. I personally enjoyed that book more because I was interested in hearing these girls perspective on the family, especially due to the recent events about them which have emerged in the tabloids over the past few weeks. 'A Love That Multiplies' is also a fascinating look into the lives of this family, however I must mention I grew very tired of listening to Michelle Duggar's obnoxious voice rather quickly. Her tone of voice makes her sound as if she's reading the book to a 3 year old. I know that that's just the way she talks, however it tended to get on my nerves.

What made the experience of listening to A Love That Multiplies the most enjoyable?

listening to Michelle herself reading it gave me the impression of having almost a one on one conversation with her and a lot of questions were answered that I think most fans would like to ask them or have asked them. Also the fact that she actually gives child training tips and not just stories or examples. These were great to enrich the child training advice.

What other book might you compare A Love That Multiplies to and why?

not sure...this is my first audio book and LOVED it...

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

That parenting is not only doable, but can be enjoyable and fulfilling....
