Would you try another book from J. A. Konrath and/or Luke Daniels?
I have read all of the Jack Daniels books and loved them, except for this one. It just didn't seem to belong to the series. What was most disappointing about J. A. Konrath’s story?
Where was the humor? The "exciting" scenes were too long and dragged out.Which scene was your favorite?
There wasn't one.Was Shot of Tequila worth the listening time?
No.Any additional comments?
The rest of the series is great, fast-paced and funny. Just don't waste your time or money on this one.Just plain awful.

I expected Detective Jack Daniels to be in the book a lot more than she was. She was in it quite a bit after about ¾ of the way through the book but up until that it was all about Tequila. About his work with the mob as a killer. And about how he took such good care of his sister who suffered from Downs Syndrome.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. There were a few laugh out loud moments. Jack Daniels was alright, but I really like Tequila. He was just a really well written character. All the mobsters that Tequila worked for and with, Slake, Marty the Maniac, Matisse, Terco and Leman were all taken care of in the end.
Nothing sexual and the F-bomb was used 22 times.
As to the narration: Again, Luke Daniels does an amazing job, especially for as old as this book is. His voices and emotions are simply amazing.
The right amount of killing and NO Dick Hill. YAY
