I recently watched a mini doxuseriws where this work was mentioned and I was immediately interested. Getting to hear about events such as these from the point of view of a great man and leader in history was amazing. I also loved how Teddy pointed out in particular the stamina and gallantry of men who served along side him!

Worth the read!

Walk softly and carry a big stick. I love history and Teddy Roosevelt has always been one of my favorite presidents, as well as a hero with the Rough Riders. Definitely recommended reading/listening. Brian Troxell did a fine job narrating.

This is an account I would never have expected to find here. This is sort of a self serving novel, but what a battle. Ken Burns does not do this justice in his doc about the Roosevelts.
