Publisher's summary

Dreams deferred are dreams that die - a process that can take the dreamer along with them. Gallagher believes it's never too late to revisit, and relive, one's deepest desires. Writing in her trademark warm and witty style, Gallagher argues that rather than spend endless time trying to find oneself, one should start creating oneself by returning to basic life wishes.

It's Never Too Late to Be What You Might Have Been, based on the famous George Eliot quote, combines sage advice, step-by-step guidelines, and inspirational push. Individual chapters include "Attitude is Everything," "Mind Over Matter, Matters," "Remembering Your Forgotten Dreams and Realizing Them," and "It's Never Too Late to Have a New Career." Written for those who struggle with discovering their purpose in life - whether a nervous college graduate facing the future, a 40-something mom seeking renewal, or those who have been recently laid off - this book explains how to listen to and honor one's inner voice.

Sorry, just couldn't get thru it.

Would you listen to It's Never Too Late to Be What You Might Have Been again? Why?

Narrating was below par; unfortunately, I got bored and could not finish listening to this book.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I hate to give bad reviews but unfortunately, the narrating was just so blah...so little inflection, it was difficult to follow and I became bored very quickly. :(

collection of stories...

Collection of stories of people that changed their profession later in life but not very inspiring,,, And not what I expected from tittle and description... No practical advises etc. Performance also more irritating than inspiring...

I Really Liked This One, Good Sage Advice

"It's Never Too Late" was a great listen. I liked the format of this audiobook as well as the sage advice. I especially enjoyed the stories from the different individuals and a couple who decided to take a chance and do what they've always dreamed. To get out of the rat race and live their dreams. Overall, yes this was a good and helpful audiobook.

Karen Commins did a good job narrating this book. She was upbeat and positive which was a huge boon for this type of book. I think her voice inflections were fine. She showed enthusiasm which is what this is all about. To encourage someone who may be trying or thinking about taking that next step into a creative change in their life.
