I run to this book every time I have an issue with my husband, mother, siblings, friends, teachers, really anyone that I wrestle with. Lysa gives such amazing advice on how to handle both the everyday and the tough situations with grace and mercy.

Unglued -- Big points for anyone on the verge

I not only read Unglued, highlighting, underlining and circling passages along the way, by Lysa Terkeurst, I listened to it -- twice. First of all, I absolutely LOVE the way she reads her books. She doesn't sound boring (like Simon Sinek in The Why), nor does she sound like she's yelling at you. She sounds like she's talking to you, and it is very calming and satisfying to hear. The inflection of her voice, her chuckles, the way she emphasizes certain words -- it's all part of the experience of diving into this intricately designed book to help one overcome the habit of becoming unglued. The book is expertly written, with each chapter making a certain point. The wisdom imparted is truly inspiring and Lysa reasons out her points with real life examples (some that will make you laugh hysterically). If you're a mom, caretaker, or anything close to that and are a woman on the edge, then this book is for you. NOTE: the accompanying workbook (for Bible study) is homework-heavy, so if you're going to do both, plan to set aside plenty of time for the workbook requirements.

I AM NOT WHAT I THOUGT, I AM NORMAL!

Having a challenging time balancing marriage, motherhood, ministry, and s desire to work outside the home. Found myself yelping at spouse, kids, birds, etc. But I love God, why am I acting unloving? This book truly gave me a sense of calmness in knowing that I'm not alone.
