Elminster books are weird

The story is just bizarre, but it is at least entertaining.
Reader mispronounces sigil and fungi, using the wrong g in each case. Otherwise, he's fantastic.

I love listening to audio books

Audio books give me an opportunity to catch up on some books that I've been putting off for awhile now.

I always enjoy most anything Dungeons & Dragons related but the Elminster series is so fun and always full of so much life and an emotion.

Ed Greenwood is a word master.

I have fallen for Elminster. He is now one of my favorite heros. I wish there was a VR game so I could walk through the same land as the legendary El.

Splendorous Language, Wonderful narration

this is my second listen of this book. the old timey language and marvelous descriptions of magic are truly special in the realm of fantasy novels. the narrator is stunning too, suffusing every syllable with meaning and subtext, and using distinct voices.
