As a teen I wanted to marry my favorite musicians. Pamela very honestly details the ups and downs of such a life. This is an incredible book and deserves to be as well known as I’m With the Band.

I bought Pamela Des Barre’s first book on a whim and loved it so much. Not because it’s salacious but because it’s a wonderful and authentic snapshot into that time period. So I decided to give this book a try too. Also fantastic but in a totally different way. I found it relatable as a Mom in her 40’s (aside from the famous friends and younger rockstar love interest stuff LOL). Pamela Des Barres’ narration Is so absolutely adorable. Both Her written and spoken voice are charming, bubbly, engaging, open-hearted, and honest. I’m a big fan!
