Swords of Eveningstar is the first title in an exciting new series by author Ed Greenwood, the creator of the Forgotten Realms campaign setting. This series explores the youthful adventures of the much-loved heroes, Florin, Islif, and Jhessail, as they battle to win a name for themselves and then to defend it against the machinations of a more insidious and devious evil than they ever thought to face.

Narrator actually did lots of different voices unlike most. Was really good!

Story was solid and fun.

Great Narration

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I can't get through this book. The reader reads it as if it's poetry... not a story... it's mind numbing...

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Different reader.

Would you be willing to try another one of James Patrick Cronin’s performances?

Hell no.

Any additional comments?

Please have this book re-read.

Worst Narrator I've encountered.

The narrator needs work on the female characters, which honestly has to be a challenge for anyone. The story jumped around a lot more so and has a lot of moving parts. Most get cleaned up by the end.

I enjoy listening

I love Ed Greenwood's writing, couldn't stand the narrator. The guy did these awkward, High School Shakespearean performances for men when he wasn't doing bad falsetto performances for women, and the whole thing came off like a soft-focus television show with a low budget.

Great Storytelling, Awful Performance
