I prefer JA's shifter bound series.... that is JA's best writing...

This book falls under the Mackenzie Brother series... The female is the sister or daughter-in-law or something... of Cameron's new wife...

The smex of course is great... in that regency way... this kinda feels a lot like Ian's book...but Ian's book was way way better. I still liked it though...

Narration was great.. This is Dawe's best type of narration... (regency-like)...

Great credit if you have the Mackenzie Brothers series.. this falls after book 4... next comes Cam's son book... I hope it's better than this one...

Pretty good...

The perfect combination of strong "Lovable" characters, surprise, mystery, and happiness. I Love, love, love, happy endings and loyal husbands.

The Seduction of Elliott McBride is the 5th book in the Mackenzie / McBride series from Jennifer Ashley. It is my least bit favorite book so far.....but that doesn't make it bad...just the others have been so good!

While there's plenty of steamy scenes in this book....there's not a ton of real "content". The main conflict is within Elliot's mind. He suffers from PTSD and it is a struggle he needs Joanna's help with.

Overall...it's a must because it's part of the series. It's a good book that could easily be a stand alone.

My least favorite part of this book is that it has the least amount of interactions with the rest of the Mackenzie family. They are present in this book...but not as much as the previous books.

Good but not great

This book has a lot going for it, My personal favorite, a crazy person who knows they are crazy!! Can you beat that?
A historical afghan war vet. PTSD and second chance at love, now come on how can you go wrong with a recipe like that.

Ms Ashley does deliver. With new characters that blend in seamlessly with the old, glimpses of old well loved characters and a love affair that proves that yes! in deed opposites attract and first loves rule.

Sometimes crazy men are the sexiest!
