The sequel to Christmas Jars! It’s been two years since Hope Jensen was reunited with her biological mother on Christmas Eve at Chuck’s Chicken ’n’ Biscuits. Hope has never felt more complete. She’s writing full-time for a family magazine and, with the help of her mother, Marianne, leading the Christmas Jars Ministry out of Chuck’s quirky restaurant. To top it off, she’s dating a marketing executive in a comfortable long-distance relationship. Her life is right where she wants it to be - a state of organized chaos - as another Christmas rolls around. Then her world changes forever over Thanksgiving weekend.

The Maxwells hire a nephew to take over the family furniture restoration business. Someone that Hope can’t stop thinking about. Then an out-of-town stranger shows up at the diner asking to help in the ministry - a stranger whose motives are yet unclear. Before the sun sets on Christmas Day, two men will try to change Hope’s life forever. In the process, Hope will be reminded of the immense power of a single jar, and the healing that sometimes comes only with forgiveness.

I fell in love with the movie based on these stories. I just recently discovered the books. They are just as wonderful as the movie. Being as the story line is altered somewhat, I now have three beautiful stories I will listen to over and over again. The simplicity of the message is the Golden Rule: treat others as you would wish them to treat you. Think of how wonderful our world could be if we would just live by that one rule! God bless you all!

Loved the sentiment and message provided in this book! It will become an annual read so I don’t forget what Christmas is all about.

A great follow up for the original Christmas Jar novel. This book starts slow, but just for a little bit. Then it picks up and I didn’t want to put it down. It’s also got a surprise ending, too. I look forward to the follow up to this book, too. Great characters. Good narration but wish the women’s voices were a little more like women without high nasalar voices.
Overall...excellent read. Recommend for all year around!

The Christmas Jars have now had such a meaningful effect on so many people that big goals are set for more. The story is a great reminder that it is about 1 child, 1 gift.

Wonderful idea! Won't you join in?
