"The murderer is with us - on the train now..."

Just after midnight, the famous Orient Express is stopped in its tracks by a snowdrift. By morning, the millionaire Samuel Edward Ratchett lies dead in his compartment, stabbed a dozen times, his door locked from the inside. One of his fellow passengers must be the murderer.

Isolated by the storm, detective Hercule Poirot must find the killer among a dozen of the dead man's enemies, before the murderer decides to strike again....

I’m kind of kicking myself in the shin for not listening to this story sooner.

I am and always have been a lover of mysteries and of Agatha Christie in particular and I am always skeptical of those who perform her works (outside of Richard E. Grant and Hugh Fraser) but Dan Stevens does a masterful job of capturing not only the story, but the characters and making all come to life. The story is fantastic and I highly recommend this version!

Fantastic Story and Performance!

Dan Stevens is an amazing narrator. I would highly recommend his narration of this and And Then There Were None. Both were excellent. Agatha Christe of course does not disappoint with this story either. If you enjoy audiobooks, you will most likely enjoy this narration.

I enjoyed this audiobook so much, I finished in one day. The story never lost my interest, and kept me guessing. I can't say enough about Dan Stevens' performance! Easily in the top 5 narrators that I've listened to. The way he captured a distinct personality for each character, both men and women of varying accents was impressive, and brought the story to life.

I first read this decades ago and I saw the movie in the seventies. While listening I was continuously impressed by how very good the writing is. A great listen and I recommend it very highly.
