Irene Radford
In volume one of Irene Radford's magnificent new saga, Merlin's Descendants, Merlin's daughter, Wren, is more powerful than even The Merlin can perceive.
And she must learn to master these talents, for soon she will be called upon to serve as both sword and shield for The Merlin, for Arthur, and for the people who would be put in her charge.

Any additional comments?
I am not a huge Arthurian legend kind of girl. I listen to them once an a while if they sound like they've got a good insight into different characters, to show different points of view. That's why I picked this one up. I am returning it today.
i am generally just fine with sexual scenes in the context of moving the story along. In this case, the scenes became so numerous that I didn't see their point after a time.
Also, the premise of the book (on the jacket vs the actual novel) didn't do much more than twist up and make the legendary story nearly impossible to keep track of.
This novel was not my favorite and I doubt I'll continue the series. But I'm sure there are some out there who will enjoy this book, it just wasn't for me.
Ruined the Arthurian legend for me a bit
