When Janes bike Bitsa dies on the way to NOLA, she ends up in a small town with big problems.

In this short story her mediating skills get a workout solving an ancient feud between cajun witches and vampires.

I highly recommend the Jane Yellowrock series.

I love the narrator of the story. She is excellent at doing accents and has a wonderful reading voice.

A fun story of cross-culture/species romance with Jane caught in the middle, as usual.

Engine problems stand Jane in a tiny backwater town that's kept it's own private war found since the Civil War. Now the daughter of a leading member of the witch clan has been taken by the son of the master vampire. Jane is dragooned into helping with the rescue mission, but that of course doesn't go as planned.

What did you love best about Cajun with Fangs?

How Jane settles a long established feud and gets to go to the first Cajun witch / Vampire wedding.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The small young lady in the gilly suit, that is such a wise mouth with a crack shoot.

What about Khristine Hvam’s performance did you like?

Professional and hard to do with that heavy Cajun accent.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I have a couple of times. It is less the Two hours long.

Another book has referenced this story, it is a good one well worth listening to.
