Crashing the chatterbox = Overpowering lies of insecurity, fear, condemnation, and discouragement with the promises of God.

“I used to think that someone who struggled with the kinds of weaknesses I deal with daily was useless to God. I felt so often like I was drowning in internal dialogue I couldn’t control. It had been the soundtrack of my life for as long as I could remember.

Yet everything changed when I began to realize God has given us the ability to choose the dialogue we believe and respond to. And once we learn how, we can switch from lies to truth as deliberately as we can choose the Beatles over Miley Cyrus on satellite radio.

This is the key to pressing ahead and doing God’s will anyway, even as you are bombarded with thoughts, feelings, and even facts about why you can’t do it.

Thank-you Pastor Steven!
Crashing The Chatterbox is a REMARKABLE description of how we allow the voice of our minds to hurt us & effect how we see ourselves. It is a daily battle and we often do not recognize it as such. This book provides tools to teach you how to recognize the dialog in our minds, our self talk. It points out examples of how our thoughts can be harmful to how we see ourselves & they can effect our self esteem. This book explains tips on how to turn that chatter around into more productive thinking.
Pastor Stevens honestly in acknowledging his own struggles with the chatterbox of his mind and sharing how it impacts his everyday life helped make this book very relatable. This book is written in such a way that it is nothing less than brilliant & inspiring!!!
This shines a light on a topic that is not often talked about, but absolutely should be. I believe this is a must read book for everyone! I never watch a movie twice or re-read/listen to a book. BUT I can't wait to listen to this again & to share it with everyone.
Highly recommend and I know what I learned in this book I will use daily!

Everyone could benefit from this book. It's an easy listen, relatively short, but packs a life-improving and faith-strengthening punch.

Awesome perspective

This book has changed my perspective so much. It is at the top of my Christmas gift list for everyone I know. Truth so honest and compelling that only Steven Furtick can deliver with such tenacity.
This book will make you cry and laugh and humble yourself.

The most memorable moments of this book were the stories Furtick told of people of great faith. The family who stood immensely strong in their faith after the tragic loss of their son while they were attending code orange revival. They reminded me that even when adversity strikes hard, God is still there, still with you and worthy to be glorified as He carries us through the storms of this life.
And the trash in the yard incident reminded me that even great teachers are still human, and I too can forgive myself when my behaviour doesn't always line up with who I am in Christ.

Thank you Pastor Steven Furtick for this wonderful resource. I can't wait to continue to work at crashing the chatterbox and encouraging others to do so as well.
God bless !

This was an excellent book! I enjoyed listening but also loved it enough to buy the paper copy as well. This will be a number one recommendation from me for some time to come.

Exceptional book

Just a wonderful story of the deep truth of Gods love for me even before my birth, and His abiding love now and forever. I am reminded of the clutter built up by lies told, by circumstances and the tools we are given to declutter. A deep and moving delivery one can't fail to reflect on.

Such a love story about God and me/you
