my daughter was introduced to Pete the Cat in her preschool class. She came home singing "White Shoes" and taking about Pete. So I had to look him up to see what all the excitement was about. I sure am glad I did. The Pete the Cat books all seem to have a moral to them. The stories get my little thinking and talking about what happened and what Pete is feeling and dealing. I'll definitely be recommending these books!
