Fun book to read!

I really enjoy Deanna Rayburn’s writing! I wish this book was made into a series!

Romantic Adventure

Another excellent book by Deanna Raybourn. Loveable characters brought to life by the narrator's beautiful voice.

Slow

Too much like slogging through thick mud. Long stretches of not much action.

Her husband has pretended he was dead for FIVE YEARS! She should have shot him on sight, or at least punched him hard in the nose. Not easy to root for either him or her.

Narrator's voice was too high pitched and whiny for me.

Good book, awful Narrator

I liked the book the author, though long winded, is one of my favorites. Unfortunately the narrator was terrible. it was distracting and I wish I had downloaded a copy on Kindle to read myself instead of bearing through this one 😕

the balance of adventure and romance.

I have loves all of the Deanna Raybourn books and this was no exception. I love a store that doesn't waste pages on anything but the story itself. Thank you for providing another good tale.
