This was one of the best audio books ever.

Would you consider the audio edition of A Beautiful Mess to be better than the print version?

Absolutely! I've read this book several times and loved it each time. But I have to say Anadelle Waters and her interpretation of each of the characters makes a difference when hearing the story.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved every single moment. I think the best part for me though was when Alex adopted Runner. You can just see the two main characters coming to that point of no return.

What about Anadelle Waters’s performance did you like?

Everything. I love the smoothness of her voice and her interpretation of each character. She had me laughing at parts and in tears in others.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I actually had trouble walking away from this audio book.

CHOC FULL OF DRAMA AND A HOT ROMANCE

Olivia had a tragic past which is resurfacing and threatening her today but she is totally unaware of it because she is suffering from partial amnesia so has lost many early memories. Saved one night by a handsome stranger with beautiful green eyes, familiar eyes, eyes of a saviour from that terrible event that's been giving her nightmares, nightmares that leaves her mentally and emotionally scarred and scared.

Alexander is a near perfect Hero, handsome, successful and loving but he's still heartbroken over the death of his childhood best friend, the best friend with beautiful brown eyes that he still searches for in every woman..... eyes that are now looking up at him from the beautiful face of a terrified woman. He remembers everything, she remembers nothing which leads to epic secrets, secrets that hold mysterious questions, danger, suspense, villains with evil plots, murder and, as their unavoidable chemistry explodes, it's secrets he should finally share with her..... but dare he.

What a well-written and gripping romance/suspense story that had so many twists, questions and some very passionate love scenes that sometimes had light Sub/Dom moments. The narration was excellent and added personality, feelings and depth to the characters in the story.

Worth a credit? This was a very emotional story, a story of undying love and it hooked me in from the start but it was one of those books that'll make you so annoyed with the Hero that you could just shake him for not divulging the secrets, secrets that involved the Heroine and is threatening her very life. Then, of course, came a very emotional heartbreaking cliffhanger which not only left me with a lump in my throat but it had me tearing my hair out that it had ended. Luckily book 2 isn't far away and I've already pre-ordered it so now comes the difficult part..... the waiting. Creditworthy.....OH HELL YEAH.

In one respect, this is a "Fifty Shades" wanna-be!

Here we have his gruff, demanding and controlling sexual behavior without her trepidation - and very little heat. She's the damaged one while he has pined away for the young love of his puberty. Screw up meets screw-job, then we finish with an abrupt departure. Now, I just want to know the rest of the back story so I might get the second one just to satisfy my curiosity.

I can't wait for the next book to find out what happens to Olivia. The situations with the other woman trying to get Alex/s attention aren't really explained well, but it was good to hear Olivia punched the girl for trying to cause trouble, This is a story of long lost loves, just one of them doesn't know it.
