the first book was like dipping a toe into the pool of chaos, the second had you up to your knees, then the final book had someone push you straight into the shocking water. i couldnt put it down and almost finished it in a day. went way more gruesome than i expected from the first book but being a fan of murder mystery i couldnt put it down!

Incredible!

I've not ever read, or heard of, a series like this. There is not a single point in ANY of the (3) books with a lull; I was never not interested and intrigued to continue "reading". The performance by Charlie Thurston was great as well! So many different voices and feeling behind them - hats of to you too! Needless to say I'm pretty upset this is the final book in the Jasper Dent series. I not only recommend this series, I will also add that you're missing out if you choose to pass this up!

Who was the most memorable character of Blood of My Blood and why?

I would hope the main character -Jaz Dent. His best friend Howie, girlfriend Connie, father and mother were also memorable. With out these, there would not be much of a story.

This is kind of a three book review. I purchased the first book because it was on sale. I generally don't go for the teen hero type books but I've also never sen a teen hero involved in a mass serial killer book. After listening to the first book it ends with a really compelling cliff hanger. Ditto for book two. So I had to get book three (two & three purchased with credits, not on sale). I am sorry to see them come to an end. These books were so well written, a few times common sense did need to be suspended die to the age of the main characters but this certainly did not take away from the book. I found the conclusion to be very satisfying and although another reviewer stated that it was predictable I personally did not think it was. I found parts were (fight against good vs evil), but other parts were not. I were a shocking surprise. I thought the conclusion was very thought provoking, melancholy and also uplifting with a feeling of justice received. I highly recommend this book (and the previous two).

I can't say enough about this book. It both enthralled and haunted me - not just this book but the whole series. Barry Lyga did an incredible job placing us into the mind of serial killers. Billy Dent will haunt me for some time now. Worthy of more chills than Hannibal Lecter himself. During the whole series, I was rooting for Jasper Dent. Poor guy had a horrible childhood being raised by America's most notorious serial killer. In this book, you find out all of the twists and secrets we've been waiting for since book 1. I promise you that it is well worth the wait and you will not expect it at all. The book ended in a way that I did not expect however, it works for the series - and quite frankly, I'm very happy that it ended this way. All hail Barry Lyga!
