The resulting chaos and fear that begins to envelop the country will strip all of the characters of what they know to normal, and will require them to question what they will stand for, what they will stand up against, and, most importantly, who they will stand with.

I listened to the person more than the story. A more neutral reader would have allowed the story to come through.

Women wimps

I enjoyed the slightly different take on societal collapse. I am afraid the political and financial background was a little confusing for an average reader.

Having most of the women in the book being helpless wimps with normalcy bias got really old. There are women preppers to who don’t appreciate that stereotype.

Realistic

No fluff, real to life, what it would be like if things collapsed economically, kept me riveted.

Excellent series!

Slow start but well worth the listen. Sucks you in when things get going. Cant wait to see what happens next.
