I got the book free trough my Amazon prime reading. So that's why I'm not too disappointed with this book. It didn't cost me anything. I wouldn't be too thrilled if I put a credit on it, but perhaps that's a fault of my own. I'm not entirely sure this genre is for me. I'd say it's a bit predictable, in a sense. You'll probably guess what happened within the first few chapters. There are some missing pieces and red herrings, etc. you get closure at the end, which is nice. Overall, it kept me busy and helped pass the hour of lunch at work. The narrator does well.

So to summarize.
Being free was good.
The narrator did well.
The story was predictable.
But there's still enough story to tell to keep you occupied.

Decent

Narrator was good, twist at the end. But a similar story about an abusive husband and a wife playing victim role, until her Knight in shinning armor comes and saves the day.. Written well but not very creative story line.

Entertaining

The story was good but there was ABSOLUTELY no mystery to it! I knew what happened before the end of chapter 2 or 3, and I think anybody with some common sense would have known too. It still was good, as I listened to it while organizing the office. I for some reason couldn't stand the voice of the reader though, so that was rough. But overall, it was decent.

Not Bad

Narrator had a voice that put me to sleep several times. She sounded like she was whispering as she spoke. Storyline was predictable.
