I can't get enough of Magnus Bane! This character is strong, hilarious, loveable, and down right EXTRA. I loved every moment of it. Even with the various narrators, Magnus Bane always shown through. I am eagerly awaiting the upcoming series centered around him.

Ok, first of all I love the series. I love Magnus Bane. That said several of the shorts directly contradict things that happened in the main stories. All I'm saying is that the authors should be more careful about their own canonical facts.

A briliant collection of short stories, chronicling events in the very long life of Warlock Magnus Bane. They are hilarious stories set in the world of Shadowhunters and Downworlders, from Peru, Paris, London and New York. They also fill in some of the history that is not fully revealed in the books series and are an excellent companion to The Infernal Devices and Mortal Instruments. Great to see they are now available as 1 book and includes an extra bonus story of phone messages to Magnus Bane, which is probably the funniest of all the short stories. All the narrators performed brilliantly as well.
