Frank Powell wasn't always Chicago's finest detective. Before him, his father, Richard Powell, ruled the streets. Soon, father and son would come to an understanding... but it would be too late for either of them. For the wheels of destinies would bring the paths of two murderers together. Blood would be shed and the Powells were caught in the middle. Death would follow.

murder and mayhem galore

if you like a good murder story with a cannibalistic murderer then this is the book for you.

The narrator does a fantastic job with the narration.

Action packed and clever thriller

A cannibalistic serial killer is eluding the police. Detective Powell is on the case, while trying to deal with his own family's problems, and the connection of the two.

This was a good detective story. I liked the build up of the story and the clever interweaving of the various characters until they converge at the climax. There were some interesting twists along the way, and at the end. There were even some sad and emotional moments, which added some good depth to the story.

George narrated well and was a good fit for the story. I recommend this book as an action packed and exciting thriller, with cleverly interweaving plots and good climax.
