Couldn’t Finish

I thought this book would be a new take on this type of story. I thought he’d be dominant and she’d eventually submit but be feisty not obey blindly and meekly. I COULD NOT FINISH. It made me so angry. The narration of this book wasn’t bad, but I find it completely humiliating and degrading to women. He throws everything in her bag on the ground and tells her to kneel to clean it up. He spanks her until she’s crying from pain and never even pleasures her. This is the beginning of abuse.

I can't relate to the subject of submission as a pathway to love and romance. I tried.
