Laura Lee Guhrke
She's an American heiress. He's a devilish earl. When these two collide, the sparks ignite a shocking scandal in USA Today bestselling author Laura Lee Guhrke's unforgettable Victorian-era romance.
Linnet Holland wants nothing to do with fortune hunters. No, she's determined to marry a man who loves her. But just as she's about to accept the perfect marriage proposal from the man she wants, the rakish Earl of Featherstone interrupts and ruins everything, including her reputation, with his smoldering kiss . . .
Jack Featherstone knows all about Linnet's ""intended,"" and he's determined she won't fall prey to that villain as other women have in the past. But when his attempt to save Linnet ruins her instead, he knows he has to make things right. So he sets out to win this golden beauty . . . and prove to her that being ruined by him was the best thing that could have happened to her.

What made the experience of listening to Catch a Falling Heiress the most enjoyable?
I cannot even count the number of books that have frustrated me beyond belief with conflicts that could be resolved so easily if the characters just had a straight up conversation about what they feel and their motivations. Yes, sometimes a little angst is pretty awesome, but not the kind of angst that's caused by the characters being morons. The characters in this book don't do that! I have never, ever read a character that talks as honestly as the hero. And it actually AVOIDS and RESOLVES the conflict!! Yet, there is plenty going on aside from communication between H/h that held my interest through the entire novel. It was soo fabulous to not have to feel like banging my head against a wall or throwing my Kindle across the room.Who was your favorite character and why?
Jack, because he doesn't beat around the bush when he's explaining himself. He's real, yo.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
There were a few moments where I was laughing, it was a fun book. I especially loved the setups Jack put the other admirers through.Any additional comments?
This is the first novel I've read from this author, I'll definitely be reading more! Susan Ericksen was amazing as always, I love her narrations so much. Overall, a fun, interesting, and fulfilling story.Characters actually say what they mean!

This wasn't a romance, it was one long mind f*ck. The heroine kept throwing her money and her whiny attitude at the hero so often, and so much that it was a chore just to finish the damn book.Ugh!
