'Infamia', the pen name of the scribe who writes the gossip column for the Daily Gazette, has gone missing. His fellow scribes have employed Falco to find him and bring him back from his lazy, drunken truancy. However, Falco suspects that there is more to his absence than there might first appear.

A great romp

As always, this series is lots of fun, and always has some surprises and some new knowledge about Ancient Rome. I usually read up on some aspects about Rome that are presented in the book, to see how historical they are, and I’m always learning something new, while having a grand time. And Falco’s wacky family can match anyone’s!!
