Der Junge Karl Schmitzke zieht im Jahr 1892 von Berlin nach Luckenwalde. Er möchte sein Hobby, das Fussballspielen, seinen Kameraden beibringen und gründet den Verein "Concordia". Aber Fussballspielen ist in Luckenwalde streng verboten. Da sich Karl immer wieder über das Verbot hinwegsetzt, fliegt er schließlich von der Schule. Nach einigem HinundHer und mit Hilfe eines Refendars wird Karl wieder in die Schule aufgenommen und Fussball "legalisiert".
