The third Lizzy and Diesel mystery in the Wicked series from number-one best-selling author Janet Evanovich, following Wicked Appetite and Wicked Business.

Lizzy and Diesel are back! In Salem, Massachusetts, sinister forces have been unleashed as evil Gerwulf Grimoire pursues an ancient relic infused with dangerous powers. Like Gerwulf, both Lizzy and Diesel have magical abilities, but theirs are put only to good use....

Along with the fast-paced, scary and twisting plot, the novel will sizzle with romance as Lizzy and Diesel are desperately attracted to one another - but can't take the obvious action without losing their special powers.

This was not easy to get through due to the narration. Lizzie sounds nothing like a woman allegedly in her 20s ( or even 30's or 40's for that matter ), it was so difficult imagining the person described talking the way the narrator does. Deisel's voice was ... just awful and Hatchet sounded nothing like he is described. Now that I think about it, Glo's voice was also not good. It made a relatively interesting story tough to listen to. I actually read this physical book about 8 years ago and it has now left me with a completely different taste in my mouth.

Bad choice for narrator
