A step down from the last few novels...

2 steps down from the books written by Clancy himself. A good concept, but a few too many leaps in the story line. Connections made by the characters that no one would actually make without more information. Original Clancy novels didn't do this. It seems to be more common, the further out we get from his passing. It takes away from the story in a significant way for me.

Scott Brick is excellent, as he has always been in the books I have heard that he has narrated.

just the right number of characters to listen and follow along. unpredictable storyline kept me wanting to continue listening.

The narrator is awful

The story is fine, if a bit straight down the fairway. The narrator does this book no favors.

Not up to the standards of a Tom Clancy novel.

You can tell the story is rushed and has some technical details wrong. One thing Tom always did was take his time with the storyline and make sure the details were correct.
