Important story yet not performed well

I sadly wanted able to get through it. The story is important to tell, yet the performance from the reader was very distracting. Each new character had a new accent unnecessarily and the voices for some of the children were over the top and annoying and screechy. I just couldnt listen through the whole book. I really tried and I don’t like not finishing books.
