Better than the last book

I love this series. Sadly, Steve West butchers the established character voices. Pausing should have gotten the normal voice actor.

Very engaging story

I really like the main character and the story is really quite engaging and well paced. I like that the MC is not overpowered but is very knowledgeable so the adventure is inventive as a result

Great voice pretrial of Characters as well as a great lead up climax to a mystery story in the setting of my Favorite Table Top RPG world of Pathfinder.

READ this one do not listen to it!

*WARNING* Do not listen to the last one if you listened to the other 4 first. Buy this "book" and read it instead. Steve West, for some reason after 4 Previous books of Radovan having an American accent unilaterally decided to give him a British accent so he sounded like a member of DefLeopard or a Beatle. This was an Audible slap in the face for the people who had listened to the previous 4 books. The best way to Ruin a series is to change Narrators on the 5th book in the series. Paul Boehmer is Count Jeggare and Radovan. Mr west just ruined the experience of the last book for everyone who listened to the first 4...

Pleasantly surprised how well this developed

I really enjoyed the majority of this story. It was a little difficult to tell the difference between the two main characters toward the beginning of the book, but by the middle the issue stopped being one. I look forward to listening to more stories in this series involving the main characters of this book.
